  1. What a great event! We raised about $3000 for Komen. I want to thank Mary Stallings, it was her idea to Combine City Slickers with this Bachelor Event benefitting a charity.

I also want to thank Julie Hatch who has handled Reata’s public relations for more than 10 years and has spent countless hours the past two weeks planning and coordinating this event, she’s priceless and I owe her a great deal of gratitude.

The event could not have been possible without the support of Larry Auth, Cody Conger and Dan Piotrowski with the Omni for hosting us tonight.

Unfortunately, all of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another. My dad’s mother, Francis Micallef beat breast cancer 30 years ago. I really appreciate all the bachelorettes for signing up, it takes a brave girl to agree to a date with me—my sister says I’m an acquired taste. I want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the Bachelorettes, Komen and me.
